RVE Vehicle Enhancement and Land Rover New Zealand created a Limited Edition Land Rover Discovery to celebrate what would have been Sir Edmund Hillary’s 100th Birthday. Only 20 vehicles are available in New Zealand from July 2019. Based on the Discovery Td6 HSE, the Sir Edmund Hillary Edition is packed full of additional off-road enhancements as well as all standard features ensuring its ability to deliver on both adventure and composure. All vehicles come with a commemorative, un-circulated $5 note signed by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1993 and a $2,000 voucher for the Edmund Hillary clothing line.

Included in the package is:

  • RVE created and manufactured flared wheel arches

  • RVE created roof light bar

  • Front winch

  • Etched metal tread-plates with ‘100 Year Edition’ script on dashboard, seat and tailgate

  • Painted rear spoiler, bumper accents and side vents with satin silver accents
